The internet has opened up as many possibilities to offend as opportunities to share knowledge and conduct a business.

• Spam or unsolicited email that affects most internet users however this is slowly reducing as internet service providers are finally showing some responsibility to curb this. A common problem is that spammers use yours or ours or anyone's email address as the return address to the spam they send out.
   
• Offers to good to be true. I recently got suckered by an advertisement on linkedin, a website I used and trusted and you can read the details:

• Unless you are paying for goods, and if it sounds to good to be true, and you are asked for cash or your credit card up front, it's sure to be a scam or rip off.
